What is Skip the Locks?
We offer boat transportation to skip the Trent Severn Locks from Lock 42 (Simcoe/Couchiching) to Georgian Bay.
Simply put, the Trent Severn can be a fun journey to get to Georgian Bay, but if you've done it before, you know it can take days and be very expensive.

At Skip the Locks, we pick up your boat at Bridge Port (on Lake Simcoe), and will transport it to a number of destinations in Georgian Bay - and offer return trips.

We have over 30-years experience hauling boats & yachts.
Licensed, insured and as a registered transport business, your boat is safe with us. Mike Kenning - Owner and Operator of Skip The Locks, has over 30 years of experience as a Master Marine Mechanic, along with hauling boats as long as 65'.

For boats up to 36'-38' long - we will pick up your boat at Bridge Port Marina and deliver it to the following Georgian Bay destinations:

We also offer pickup locations in the GTA & Eastern Ontario with a drop-off on Lake Simcoe (Bridge Port Marina)
